Alison has supplied her work to galleries for exhibitions around Scotland and the north of England. She enjoys meeting the people who buy her work too and has taken part in the North Fife Open Studios event which runs during the first weekend in May every year. This is your chance to visit artists, designers and makers in their own work spaces and speak to them about their sources of inspiration and techniques, and buy directly from them. Other commitments mean that Alison has not been able to open her studio during recent events but her prints are often available at her Maisie & Mac shops in Cupar and in Dundee...
After months of planning, hard work and lots of help and encouragement from family and friends Alison opened a Gallery and Gift Shop on April 9th 2011. The lower floors of an iconic rounded and domed building were renovated to provide a fabulous interesting space right in the centre of Cupar in Fife - on the corner of Crossgate and St Catherine St, (KY15 4LS). Alison has sourced work from over 80 artists, designers and makers - paintings, prints, jewellery, ceramics, textiles and work in wood, metal, slate and glass .... all of it inspiring! In late October 2018 she opened a second Maisie & Mac shop at 2 High St, Dundee, again specialising in stocking the work of UK makers and designers alongside quirky gifts and home-ware ethically sourced from elsewhere.
